Consider Praying For Me, Please...

I'm certain I have lost my running for the Mother of the Year Award this week. Seriously.

I need a break.

I don't know how to get one without literally paying for it.

If my oldest child asks me one more question, I might break down and cry.

I am in the negative and it is going to take more then just an hour or two to myself to get out of this.

PMSing is not helping the situation at all.

But, if I could, I would crawl back into bed, put the covers over my head and stay there all day long.

  1. Lord, I pray right now that you infuse OFFH with your presence - come and cleanse her heart and refresh her spirit. Pour out your annointing that renews her body and her mind. Remind her of how patiend and kind and loving You are through her. Remind her that she is your princess, loved passionately by you and able to pour that love out on all around her. Give her a new vision for mothering these precious boys. And Father, while you are doing this work, I pray for a spirit of peace to flood the boys' hearts and minds and bodies. Give them rest and quiet in their spirits. And their little minds, too! In your holy name, AMEN!

  2. Amen, Tracy!

Lord, I pray that you remind my precious sister, "that this, too, shall pass" and for every "bad" mommy day she has there are many "good" mommy days and her kids will rise up and call her blessed!

Now, go take a nap. Or, eat chocolate. You have my permission.

  3. Father, you know the depths of her heart and you love her the same. Remind my dear sister that she is adored for who she is and not what she does. Bless her. Give her strength. Give her grace to walk this walk you've designed personally for her. And Lord, thank you for Fire. Just thank you for her. She is precious and not alone.

  4. How was your day at the park? Did it help? I know just getting outside and letting them play helps. Luckily for you, you don't have to play with them still. I pray that you will get a well-deserved break. Even if it is just an evening at Starbucks. I enjoyed talking to you. I miss you and hope to see you soon!!!!

  5. I will pray for you, and we all have those days!

  6. Amen to all the prayers already spoken here. I will be praying for you throughout the day. God knows what you need and He will be the source that will help you rise above the questions and the hormones!

  7. Lord, I lift up On Fire to you now. I ask that you encourage her. Renew her. Give her wisdom as she trains her children. Give her patience with their immaturity. Lord, I thank you that you gently lead those with young. Thank you for gently leading On Fire through this time. Father I pray you would breathe fresh life into her. Energize her through your Word. Provide support for her through family and friends. Thank you Lord for your loving care. Give her strength in her time of weakness. We praise you Lord! In Jesus Name. Amen
